It's very addictive - if you use it for very short term, then it'd be ok, but only very short term!

well i did it 3 weeks ago, so hopefully only another 3 weeks til its gone - i only really want them to get me through the games on saturdays for now..... :)

Strap them up just b4 the game but insert 2 of those heat patches under the strapping if your a hairy chap dont use the sticky type of strapping for obvious reasons i failed to realise when i did the same thing. Oh and dont go up for 50-50 headers

a couple of wide diameter bandages the thick stuff not gauze, then use a good type of plaster to seal the ends.i used duck tape,on the down side you have to get a mate to strap you up,never tight enough when you try to do it yourself. check to see if your turning blue b4 ko.

Any better?

no mate - im startng to get really pissed off.

solphadol hasn't even touched the sides.

i spoken t the Crawley Town physio yesterday and now thinking maybe the pain is the muscle inbetween the ribs, rather than the actual bone....

...that would explain why it took a week to feel the pain.

in agony now everytime i move so have gone back to ibroprofen and paracetamol today - not much working though - dont no what the f*** to try!:(

Having damaged my ribs just after Xmas, I took Paracetomel and Codeine morning and night... the ones at night were to allow me to sleep - it was bl**dy agony!

I've been on Solpadol for quite a while now and I've had no problems with addiction ( unlike the morphine & tramadol I was taking ) But one really bad side effect I get is horrendous constipation.

i cant believe how everyone rates this solphadol and after 2 days i felt NO better or less pain at all.... gutted

I dont rate it that well but it's the strongest i'm allowed to take now so it's that or nothing, At best it just takes a slight edge off the pain.

currently have cracked rib done last Sunday - 60mg of codeine and 1000mg of paracetomal both 4 times a day

But any cough and its still through the roof. On top of that i find a sleeping tablet works for getting through the night.
