I’ve had a lovely day today. Watched MOTD again. Walked the dog. Decent Sunday lunch with the family. Even found time to go to the gym. But every single other second of the day I’ve either been on here or on Twitter, soaking up every wonderful morsel of Palace angst/self-implosion/sorrow/anger/frustration. And laughing my head off. Even at their frothing baldy gammon getting knocked out.

It’s just bloody marvellous.

It’s gallows humour - not embarrassing at all. In fact, pretty much the only non-embarrassing thing they did all day.
I went to see Stephen Fry at the Dome a few years ago and he remenisced about coming down with Norwich during some of our darker days and how we had his favourite chant "You're better than us, you're better than us, we're brighton 'hov albion, you're better than us"

Was that the book tour he did for Mythos?

That was a great show

And just think, if they’d brought on James Tomkins our afternoon could have even been better.

If you’re starting to feel all little down because it’s only a few hours to Monday

watch this

and if that doesn’t help follow up with this, he is a massive Chelsea supporter bellend that has given up going to games because they sometimes lose 😂

Palace have had 9 managers ( counting Hodgson as 2) in 11 seasons.
For much of that time they have spent top-half wages for bottom half performances.

The yank owners have demonstrated a lack of interest in investing in the club's progression.
This is mainly because Parish makes the decisions and those decisions are incredibly short term.

Increasingly the Palace job will be seen as a second to last option, just above Watford.

The ultras can want a progressive manager, developing a style of play and developing youngsters as much as they want.
But all the time Beaky's in charge, they aren't going to get it.

I still can't believe they offered Mr Tumble £300k a week to stay, or whatever it was. Mind you, I can't believe he turned that down :lolol:
