Just once though. It must be possible?
Oh definitely, I'm just not so sure it's possible when there's such an obvious gulf in class between us.

Gonna have to wait a while before we turn them over 😂

Who remembers all the Palace fans who were fully supportive of Roy when he returned to replace Vieira, seemingly under the impression he’d suddenly learned how to play enterprising attacking football after a reasonably promising start?

I don’t understand how they can expect to do any more than just “exist” at most in the PL with an appointment like that.

Of course the issues there lie much deeper than just Roy being in charge but he exemplifies things pretty well.

That's true, but back then we weren't having fun in Europe. If we hadn't got to Europe and were in 14th, they wouldn't be so unhappy.

The #cpfc stuff is good for so many reasons from the despair to the genuinely funny content. You can't not like the gallows humour.

I bet Beaky is livid with the UA about these poncey banners. Airing their dirty linen in public is what they do so well though. I bet Roy's replacement can't wait to get started.

The way this plays out is Palace lose their next match to bottom-of-the-league Sheffield Utd, they then sack Roy and bring in Steve Cooper just ahead of the game against us, and have the most almighty “new manager bounce”. It is inevitable!
Well 12 months ago - the way it played out they were on a run of bad form (no wins in 10) , they came to the Amex - had a couple of chances in the first 10 minutes and then Solly March put us one up. We won and Viera was sacked within hours.

Its not inevitable ha ha.
