But why? they are not going down and even with Pep in charge wouldnt get into europe so what is the point?
The Spurs supporting Always run the club and they want him gone.

If I were palace, I'd be craving relegation just to get rid of the Ultras and reclaim my club.

Roy won't be gone until the window slams shut.
There's no way the board will leave themselves open to spending big money, so soon after completing the new stand.

Roy is 78 next year . He is doing quite well .
To be honest I think the guy is amazing - he’s been managing for longer than Arteta has been alive!
And his energy levels are incredible for someone his age…I’m 17 years his junior and am already slowing down somewhat. I’d be overjoyed to be as sprightly as Roy at 78.
Plus, he’s refreshingly honest when interviewed - an all-round good guy. Just a shame he manages CPFC.
But now is the ideal time for him to move on - Palace can afford to take a bit of a risk, given the chances of relegation are minimal.

Too positive a view. I think it's clear that with so many people expecting an easy Arsenal win, palace are going to sneak a win. Ah well. At least it'll keep Roy in charge a little longer.
My Arsenal pal is convinced they’ll lose.

He took no comfort from my optimism and overwhelming support for his team unfortunately declaring that they can no longer convert chances any more.

Looking at their form, I’ve changed my tune and reluctantly agreeing with you. This is the ideal Hodgson game. One or two goals
from about 3 shots whilst Arsenal will miss well over 20 shots.

Two rather important games today, lose against the Arse and a Notts Forest win sees them down with the strugglers...
They'll flirt with the bottom 3 but never get drawn in.
Much like us with the top 4.

Annoyingly so far, they seem able to beat the likes of Burnley & Sheff Utd plus they got to play Brentford’s U21s when the rest of their squad was injured. A fluke against Manure and a win over a poor Wolves sees them up in a thoroughly undeserved 14th place with a number of draws that rely almost entirely on their opposition not having their shooting boots on.

However, I think they’ll finish bottom 3 this season, only to be saved by Everton and Forest points deductions! That is SO Palace!

Ben White with the winner. More woe for those of a Palace persuasion. #cpfc going nuts with why he didn’t bring Franca on until the 82nd minute and some stuff about Will Hughes not being the answer. If it wasn’t so schadenfreude-ingly arousing it will be as dull as their play. Cos they’re feeling… 🎶 sad all over, yes they’re sad all over, baby they’re sad all over, so they all whine 🎶

Be typical of them if points deductions saves them this season.

In fairness that is how it should be.

Leicester went down due to being scared of FFP, while Forest and Everton stayed up because they didn't give a shite.
