The harder we work in training, on systems and shapes, the luckier we get.
Maybe, just maybe, it might not be about luck.

i wonder of palace will do the reverse of the last few seasons? ie. you started very badly last 2 years and got gradually better. This year you've started well so as an albion fan im afraid i can only hope you colapse later..sorry about that!

I was wondering the same thing. Particularly two seasons ago they had a shocking start. As a fatalistic Albion fan though I just thought, oh well, they've got plenty of time to turn it around. Here's hoping it's the other way around this season.

Try not to get involved in these silly threads too much...But that is just made up rubbish, I thought Palace completely controlled 80% of that game and even after going 1 down, I new we would come back. Scoring a winning goal 2 minutes from the end means we still had control of the game. My West Ham mate was saying that as soon as Palace pulled it back to 1.1 there was only going to be one winner and that wasn't West Ham.

Palace have had a good start ( for us being a slow stater) We have played a few "top" teams and a few of the" Others" we have been playing OK.

Made up rubbish? The stats suggest otherwise. You wouldn't be the first person to get carried away when your team gets a win.

Get to 40 points as soon as possible is always my attitude . Then we can look over our shoulder and see you beneath .

I wouldn’t bother mate, now they have Potterball, they are beyond compare .

I’m sure ‘Potterball’ is a phrase franchise fans use far more than anyone on here do! It was designed as you were all sure we’d fail miserably... and we haven’t. We play comfortably in the top 10 for attractiveness and are far more entertaining this season - light years ahead of you, who just throw silly money at journeymen and names each season to scrape by. No long term plan anywhere - on or off the pitch - you need a leaf out of our book (established 1801 aisde).

Good plan Doogle... I thought your attitude was ‘only come on NSC after we’ve sneaked a good result and go missing when we don’t?’. I’ll take the famous 6 points as massive underdogs last season over finishing above you any day thanks

West Ham had 52% possession, and a couple more shots than Palace, so I'm not sure how you completely controlled 80% of the game.

Possession stats are very misleading as you know..You can control a game by making the opposition pass sideways and backwards trying to find a way through the midfield and defense, hence they have more possession but but you are controlling the way they play.

How a West ham fan saw the game.

The guy is hurting. He's just seen his team somehow contrive to lose at home...to Palace, of all teams. He's confused and embarrassed. Its humiliating. The stats aren't in the least bit misleading anyway - I saw most of the game, and Palace were far from "controlling" it. It was a fairly even game, against an out-of-sorts misfiring and wasteful West Ham.

Does any club get given as many penalties as CPFC2010 ?

Watched the whole game - it was a very even, low quality game. Had a mate of mine (West Ham fan) in a Whatsapp group asking how on earth they weren't winning, yet another friend (a Palace fan) also saying similar.

That WHU fan in the video above is understandably upset at seeing West Ham lose to a much smaller side in the last minute, in a very tight game - that's got to hurt.

At the same time, I do think a few on here are being a bit harsh on Palace. They are overachieving hugely and doing very well, given they have only been in existence for 9 years as a club. Impressive stuff.

Going to have a 10 year old party next year. Balloons, streamers, the lot. Poundland have a sale on.

We read football differently which is good as it is a game of opinions, lets put it this way I never saw us losing that game when I watched live at the London stadium.

Nothing to do with us if the defender tries to catch the ball :) but yes we do seem to get a lot of pens...I might be wrong in thinking none of the penalties this season have had zaha involved either ?

Does any club cheat as much as CPFC2010?

Clearly not!

Palace have won 28 penalties in the PL in the last 3 seasons, and have 2 already this season. Extraordinary.

Not extroadinary when you see how easy they fall over.... You would have thought refs would now have sussed their gameplan out!

Quite extraordinary that none have been overturned by VAR this season .
