Having read all the archived thread it seems the "Albion supporters" who wanted to sell the Goldstone, that our unwashed friend Adlerhorst is banging on about, is just a handful of councillors & the board? Not a huge swathe of fans desperate to sell the ground?

Reading the thread I get the impression that the 'Albion supporters' that wanted to sell the ground simply didn't exist. We needed to borrow money to pay our debts (something a little alien to our Palace supporting friends), and in order to raise the money, we needed our ground to be considered valuable, and for that, planning permission was seen as a benefit. But none of the fans wanted a retail park there.

Yeah agreed, that's why I put "Albion supporters" in quotes like that. As others have already said now this has been posted on which forum it is on it will be taken as fact by the unwashed divs so just trying to counter that, with some reality, in a small way.
