Palace are running their club well these days, they have to be given credit for that. But they should been forced to call themselves Crystal Palace 2010..

We will always stay in front of them,from here on in,for this reason.................we have the capacity to lord it up and do the top flight in the Brighton way of staying down,working hard,making sacrifice,getting the breaks (Bloom) and building our reputation.

Or we can do it the Palace way of being deluded,playing above our status,borrowing left right and center,in a run down delapidated stadium,with 50000 fickle plastics that will disapear within 4 years of our record gate in the top flight and serve 2 administrations and still be ok,not sure we could do it a 3rd time but that's the way it goes.

As for Palace they have no such luxury.

Palace STH's effectively got back 100% as their season tickets were honoured. Everyone else including Tangoman got 1p in the £

I would say, I think most clubs fans would do anything to save their club. Don't mean I would be proud of what the club and fans have done.

To be honest I never put myself as a creditor, my nan was dying of a brain tumour at the time and to be honest I could not give two shites about football at that time. They did have a right to register themselves as creditors though.

Defence mechanism to make you feel better about the current situation, that's all the above drivel is. There was nothing immoral in what we did, that would imply that Jordan intentionally went out his way to overspend. Why would he do that and risk shit or bust, he's not a gambler. What happened was bad buisness decisions at crucial times mixed in with a combination of unlucky circumstances and a dodgy lender. Out actual CLUB debt was £4.3 million, half of what you lost last year, and would have been paid off just through the sale of Victor Moses but he was sold on the cheap in a panic. Agilo then screwed us and Jordan over big time. Jordan had since said that he was devasted and perplexed by what they did, not in the in fact that he lost all his money but what admin meant to the club, it almost killed us.

Anyway, back to today and once again the team of freebies show up Sugar Daddy Albion FC, as we get a decent point at fortress Selhurst, (yes, you guessed it, FFS scored just like he will next Sunday) whilst the Chanpionships Barca once again fail to score and suffer defeat to agent Freedman. Enjoy your evening lads, but please, do mind that gap.

TBH, i'm not really interested......... no disrespect, but i'm really not.
I just enjoy going to a great stadium, looking around at the rolling hills and countryside, and watching the game. Probably the best location in the country for a day out for football.
I'm sure many on your own board feel the same way eh.

Rolling hills and countryside is exactly where a football ground should not be. A fantastic stadium it may be, but the location is absolutely dreadful and the duration to/from Brighton Station is a testament to this although I know there were no genuine alternatives to Falmer.

no it was £30m. one debt was for £4.3m from Agilo. another was the taxman who initially petitioned for winding up iirc, Agilo called in administrators to secure their investment (and ironically your club - winding up would have been instant death). if you had a total debt of £4.3m you wouldnt have been in any trouble.

i hope for your sake there are others who dont take your blinkered view of recent history so they understand if/when it occurs again and can react early. for example, you should always be wary and mindful about how the owners insisted in a cap on the profits of any resale of the ground, only an issue if they were ever to sell the ground - shirley you can see the implications here? and before you cry on about Bloom loaning us money, thats exactly the point, we dont have outside third parties that could come and spoil it all.

Please tell me then, the combined £15 mill owed to the HRMC and Lloyds on the creditors list do you consider this money gifts?
And why did the HRMC put in a winding up order against Palace before Agilo put you into administration to safeguard their money?

But we had to start again after selling players, bringing kids in and only just, 10 minutes from time survived relegation. What no-one has said is that our new owners had to buy our ground and then set up the company again costing in the region of £20m. And as they continually say, running a football club, yours, ours, EVERY club with the exception of 3 i think, they all lose money. Steve Browett once posted that money surrounding our club was one way....in. The money for Wilf will pay towards the academy, new stadium, new training ground and maybe a player or two.
We aslo have 4 fellas who only have the clubs best interest a heart as Tony Bloom does for you.
Anyhow, back to the banter, i hope the Chelski left back plays on Sunday, he'll have whiplsh and/or a red card by the time Wilf finishes with him and the kid Williams is on fire too. We'll not go there about 30.

Don't be a pratt, you write a lot of sense most of the time. If we don't/haven't gone up in 2 years we'll get £20m for Williams, £8-10m for Jedinak and more £m's for Bolasie, that's of course if 30 hasn't asked for a move, maybe another £5m. There's money all over our team, our future for the next 5-10 years looks as secure as it ever has and we are finally in safe hands.
