[Albion] Covid Passports *may* allow return to full Premier League crowds

If I remember correctly Paul barber said the club have to do whatever the government wants them to do because of the safety certificate that the government issues the club which then allows fans in.
So if the government say vaccine passports then it is enshrined in the safety certificate and the club has to adhere to that.
I think PB said frankly,we will just have to get in with it.
But if the government are defeated on this then I guess the club will still be able to insist on proof of vaccine as it's their premises.
It will be interesting to see what happens but everyday that goes by is another day closer to kick off.
It must be a nightmare for all the club's involved.

When we get to September and everyone has been offered 2 jabs, assuming deaths and hospitalisations are under control there won't be any requirements.......sufficient people will be protected from serious illness for the rest to be dealt with if they do fall ill.

Covid passports 100% will not be in place in August or any earlier than end of Sept when there are people who haven’t even had chance of second jab. Also in a world where the ground will not be at capacity no chance the club will turn away another 20% of customers unless they have too.

My Covid passport records my LTF tests, I suspect it also notes a positive test as well as the two jabs. Three ways to gain entry.

Who knows. And this is why vaccine passports are never going to be a thing. It’s scare mongering of young people like me to getting a vaccine that they do not need.

I had covid in January. My partner has just had covid for the first time, in fact we are on our 10th day of isolation now. Since she’s had covid we’ve been in the same room, same bed, ate dinner together etc. Lived normally. I have still not tested positive for covid in the last 10 days. Negative again this morning.

My anti-bodies are doing just fine, I do not need a vaccine in my body of which I don’t know the potential long term side effects of, at my age.

I am not anti-vax as I said. I’ve had many other vaccines and jabs. But this one I just don’t believe in for me personally, and that should be my choice, for the valid reasons I have outlined above.

Yes you most definitely are.

Unfathomable how anyone can still suggest these vaccines are anything but a godsend. It's excruciating ignorance.

Stop reading bollocks and stop being a ****ing moron.

What's with the aggression?

The answer given is totally understandable, if you've had Covid logically you don't really need the vaccination as you will have the anti-bodies.
Why is this triggering you?

I'm double jabbed and still tested positive for Covid 19 about two days ago. Yesterday I felt really shit, but I'm so thankful for having the jabs, I think my condition would have been ten times worse without it.

Feeling the way I did yesterday made me understand what a nasty piece of work this virus really is.

the problem comes where there is too large a block refusing to take the vaccine. they are undoing the efforts of others and likely carriers themselves. i know an institution in Sussex thats had to close due to an anti-vaxxer catching covid, passed on to many and hospitalised.

Providing proof of antibodies (via testing) would also be permitted under this scheme I believe.

Yes.

This is my Covid-passport. It records LFT tests.

Quite simply because idiots like him/her have cost me, and those close to me, time and money.

If you want to believe that the two towers was an inside job or Elvis is still rocking it on one of Jupiter's moons then to each their own, you're a bit strange but there are no real-world implications on those around you by believing that bollocks. It's a very different situation having dupable halfwits refuse vaccines based on something they read in their circle of ignorance on Facebook and in so doing, be responsible for other people's time and suffering.

Absolute nonsense.

It's presumably still advisable to have the jab, even after having had the virus, for the same reasons as vaccinated people are given booster jabs.

For the most part, for younger people (and I sit in this category) getting the vaccine isn't really about the individual's health, it's about protecting other people by reducing the risk of passing it on. Which is why I personally (and I'm obviously not the person you directed the question at) find it so annoying.

Which bit and what's your evidence for it?

Inferring that people who don’t see the need to take the vaccine as a mad conspiracy theorist and also that these people have somehow added to his ‘suffering’.

It’s not a legal requirement. I won’t be getting it, I’ve already had Covid or Coronavirus or whatever they are calling it this week.

Unfortunately people are too quick to label others without much thought ..I’ll admit to being guilty at times

Protecting who? People that have already had the vaccine?

Do you also want flu vaccines for under 50’s and have them on your vaccine passport as a requirement to get into a football ground?

Quite incredible we can be 18 months in to this and still it is being compared to the the flu.

We’ve got no hope have we?

It’s protecting the % of people who despite getting the vaccine are still vulnerable to dying, it’s really pretty simple stuff.

Good luck. People like him don’t understand community and consideration for others. Yesterday one of the other ones was constantly spouting made up bullshit and every wild claim was refuted by Audax
No apology, no thanks. Just radio silence as I guess he returned to Twitter to spread more lies.

Bare in mind that BeHereNow is anti lockdown, anti vax and pro spreading white supremacist conspiracy theories.

Most people aren't like that, thank god.

Where's your evidence that you don't need a vaccine if you've had Covid?. Can you tell me how long your immunity lasts?

"Whatever they are calling it this week" suggests you don't believe it's a real thing. Do you? Because, if you do you, you know exactly what it's called.

Do you know what I think? I think you're one of those that still can't accept what happened and wants there to be an actual time machine to go back to 2019. You're one of those who won't pause your own life, even for a second, to help others. Who thinks that this is all one big made up thing, even though it's abundantly clear that Johnson couldn't organise the proverbial piss up in a brewery. let alone be complicit in a world wide conspiracy. That you've never looked at the positive vaccination data without thinking it was a lie. That you don't wear a mask and when challenged, mutter something about "having a condition".

And all the time that sort of poor critical thinking is excused everyone's suffering will carry on because the pandemic will continue and, even if people don't lose loved ones here so much, they will be dropping in their millions in the third world.

But you go about with your arrogant "immunity" and inability to wear a face covering for five minutes
