In theory, a covid ravaged spurs squad would give us an advantage but considering our recent form it wouldn't surprise me if we still found a way to be one-nil down going into injury time (after dominating and missing several sitters) with every Spurs player marking Maupay.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed in his press conference that SEVEN first team players have not made the trip to face Napoli due to COVID-19 or illness. https://t.co/cp1LUSAmFg

Either Spurs are a Super Six club with a huge squad to cope with their European commitments and still beat little old Brighton or they aren't. As former boss Keith Burkenshaw put it 'we should always beat teams like Brighton'. I don't recall any caveats.

When footballers were men and they played 1-11 and only allowed 1 substitute

And the European Cup was just played for by Champions
Was it Liverpool that had a Double Winning season using just 14 players?

Does it really matter? It’s going to be another draw regardless.

'It's a big infection. We have families, it's not right': Emotional boss Antonio Conte reveals Tottenham have just ELEVEN players left to play after growing major Covid outbreak - and calls for matches to stop

They should be more careful then...especially for their families. Maybe the infection was brought in by one of the private chefs that cook at home for their players, like poor old Harry Kane.

Ridiculous comment. Could easily have been off one of their kids at school.

Worse than that you get hundreds of twats marching about it as well

As Herr Klopp said a few weeks ago:

"If I say I am vaccinated, other people say: 'How can you tell me I should be vaccinated?' It is a little bit like drink-driving," Klopp said ahead of Sunday's home game with Manchester City.

"We all probably were in a situation where we had a beer or two and thought we still could drive but [because of] the law, we are not allowed to drive so we don't drive.

"But this law is not there for protecting me when I drink two beers and want to drive, it's for protecting all the other people because I'm drunk and we accept that as a law."

Klopp said vaccination is not a limit on freedom.

"I don't understand why that is a limitation of freedom because, if it is, then not being allowed to drink and drive is a limitation of freedom as well," he said.

"I got the vaccination because I was concerned about myself but even more so about everybody around me. If I get [COVID-19] and I suffer from it: my fault. If I get it and spread it to someone else: my fault and not their fault."

I have been assured they will not travel to the Amex ,and if they do, which they won't, they will comply with all COVID rules which won't be an issue as they won't travel but if they do travel, they will be within the rules and it won't be questioned as it is retrospective but I have been assured they won't travel so it won't be an issue when they do travel and stick to the rules in place at the time.

You're not Ben's Grandad's son by any chance, are you?
