Lets not be the arrogant fans that we so despise, here are two teams who have been in the lower leagues, have fought their way to Wembley . Good luck to whichever one makes it. Remember where we were for so long, and how we hated the #teamslikebrighton remarks.

Quite right.

People forget that we have spent most of our history in the lower leagues and still have no major honors.

Arrogance will see others laugh at us if we were to ever fall back down.

I think they'll take a view that its just not worth blowing £10m+ on making Kenilworth Road fit for human habitation for what would most probably be 1 season in the PL, whilst they sort their new stadium out...which I understand they DO have planning permission for, but they've not put a spade in the ground on it yet. Plus I do wonder where this estimated £100m funding is going to come from for it.

I went to MK Dons last season vs Shrewsbury (don't ask). Its a terrible soulless bowl with circa 5-6,000 rattling around in those lower tiers. But if Luton moved there for PL football and they re-opened the top tiers for it, then like any venue, if its full it'd be decent.

Is the MK stadium EPL ready? We had to spend a fortune on new floodlights etc at the Amex so I doubt it.

Presumably they'll just take some floodlights from another club who already have them.

Its a damn sight more ready than Kenilworth Road, which is basically just a series of hotchpot 19th century asbestos-riddled shacks scattered randomly around a football pitch.

I would genuinely love to see it host PL football though. It'd be a right laugh.
