Coventry City have signed striker Eddie Johnson from Manchester United on a season-long loan deal.
The 19-year-old has made one first-team appearance for United and is looking forward to playing in The Championship.
"It'll be good for me to get the experience and I want to get Coventry promoted," said Johnson.
"I was on loan at Royal Antwerp in Belgium last year and scored nine goals in 11 games, and the standard was quite high," he told Coventry's website.
Johnson added: "Sir Alex Ferguson thought it would be a good idea for me to come and get some experience.
"He still sees me in his plans but with the strikers they've got - Alan Smith, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Louis Saha - it's difficult to slot in there.
"I've come here to gain my own experience, hopefully do well and take it back to United next year."
He'll play for England one day IMHO... But you just watch him have a nightmare against Brighton!
