Barrett scores.

Can things get any worse?

I was hoping that the rest of Fatboy's post would read:

"Cardiff win and Robbo has another great game!"

But it didn't. Never mind.....

Coventry were ultra-defensive tonight. Their midfield dropped very deep from kick-off, but after Barrett scored (from their first attack, such is our defence) they effectively played 7-2-1 for the rest of the game. Glad we got the better of them, boring tossers.

Barrett played OK, and the lad up front they have on loan from Man Utd looked useful, but Coventry certainly weren't great (obviously). It's very early days, but I can say with a fair degree of confidence that if you fail to win on Saturday it's going to be a tough old season.

Nope. Any Premiership team wishing to secure his services would have to pay somewhere between £3.5 million and £4.5 million, and they don't seem willing to take the risk.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him leave during the next transfer window, but I can't see him going in the next couple of weeks.

Back to tonight's game: Coventry were no great shakes at all. Disappointing really, and very negative. Having watched them in action, I honestly believe the Seagulls can beat Coventry on the weekend. But, if they can't, then the signs are not good.
