A bit of light relief:

1643: SENT OFF
Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer are dismissed at St James' Park for fighting each other, in front of a disbelieving Graeme Souness.

That makes three players sent off for them today!

They continued fighting in the tunnel!! :lolol:

Souness's face just now looked like thunder!!

Bet Bower and Dyer have the quickest shower in history and get the f*** out the changing room!!

:lolol:

Arsenal have overtaken Man U at least.

Little consolation but I have to take something from today

On the negative side, we don't have a hope of a win at Preston and our confidence is shot to pieces.

On the plus side, Chippy's back, Blayney sounded better than Shabaan, we can't keep on getting lousy decisions against us forever and even one win could make a massive difference.

As someone - whose name escapes me - once said, "Keep the faith".

Must win two of these three, at a minimum: Burnley, Leicester, Rotherham -- and not lose again -- to have a cushion. One does not want to have to beat Ipswich to stay up.

Tall order....

Lets not start blaming McGhee. We all know why we're getting relegated. Because we have no money and no ground.

Even lower division players don't want to join us.

The only players we sign are those rejected by other clubs who are desperate to prove themselves. Then if they turn out to be any good they go elsewhere.

I said after last season if we get the decision on Falmer we'll have a fighting chance as the morale and the potential would be there. But it has dragged on and we are still waiting for a decision and the whole club is in limbo. We either have a future or we die and it could go either way.

Who wants to join a club that could have folded next year?

've been a big McGhee fan, but he has puzzled me over the past few weeks. Although it came off against Sunderland, the two big men up front just plainly isn't workind and 4-4-2 is leaving us more vulnerable.

All we had to do a month ago was draw the majority of our games so why the switch from 3 central defenders and wing backs? If he thought that mayeb teams has us sussed, so what? We were rock solid if not very creative.

I think the manager has to take some of the blame, although I reckon also that our small squad maybe means the players are tiring (for instance, what's Harty done for weeks?), and obviously the absence of Kuipers and Chippy's been a big disruption.

Of course, it'd be stupid to say he should leave - he's a good manager, but it's not unreasonable to voice a few doubts.

The players we already have have proved we can beat teams in this division. Yet he drops or plays out of position Leon Knight, far and away our best player preferring to play donkey McCammon and a defender up front? Doesn't exactly help our cause.

I would state that only a complete halfwit would choose NOT to question McGhees tactics and team selection.

If he's a halfwit how can he be complete?

Blind ignorance in anything is dangerous and maybe it is time to start looking at some of MM's tactics and team selection.

and your point is...?

A lot of people who do not know why the penalty was given. Not their highest of the season. Coventry had bigger attendances for the visits of Leeds and Sheffield United.

That's certainly what I can't understand. Our strength this season has always been in defence, yet he switches to a system that is more attacking, and, unsuprisingly, we start to ship goals at a ridiculous rate. I could have seen 3-5-2 grinding us out some low-scoring draws, maybe the odd 1-0 win ... not hugely entertaining, but efficient.

It seems he'll stick with 4-4-2 now, although I can't see why - 5 defeats on the spin suggests something's fundamentally wrong there.

Still need the six points before I start to praise MM.

When I saw the fixture list, I thought it would go to the wire.
I didn't figure on possibily the worst injury crisis since I have been watching the Albion.

On paper Coventry looked to have a good side. I think the Albion players have skill limitations; the ones we have got left.
