Yes I’ve been to Highfield Road on a number of occasions, so I don’t “need to shut up” as you so eloquently put it. Quite what that has to do with your complete disregard for their fans who, like Brighton, lost their ground, I have absolutely no idea. At a guess the date of 8th February 1997 means absolutely nothing to you.

You don’t have to be ‘local’ to be clever, as your post clearly so clearly demonstrates.

Whoever designed the seating at Highfield Road should have been prosecuted for crimes against humanity. Not even large enough for Maty Ryan.Sky Blue Stand, more like Black and Blue Stand.Perhaps if you were not so aggressive in your attitude,I might have responded better, but with age comes maturity.

Lived in Cov for three years. A lot of the lads on the degree worked for courtalds (sp) and most went to games. They were all city boys living in tile hill, Redford, stoke etc.

Meriden is hard is hardly a metropolis (large village) so not sure what your getting at other than trying to be clever ......

Meriden and Arley are on the map,but a lot of the smaller mining communities in that area are not.Cov got a lot of support from there,as did Brandon Bees.Is Courtaulds still there?

My attitude? it wasn’t me that posted this pile of aggression laden dross.

Did you ever go to Highfield Road?If not, just shut up. A lot of Cov fans live along the A45 into Brum anyway,in places like Arley and Meriden, but you wouldn't know, not being local,so don't try to be clever, something you very obviously ain't!

If you believe that, “with age comes maturity” I guess you’re a lot younger than me. :)

I cant believe your complete and utter lack of empathy for fans of another team, who through no fault of their own, have lost the ground they owned through the actions of dubious ownership, and are now facing this sort of shit. Do you know the history of the club you support?

When the Goldstone was ripped from under the fans, would you have posted this?

‘Easy trip for Brighton fans straight along the A23. Regular stopping service on the trains to East Croydon and Norwood Junction. Superior facilities and pitch, welcome to SE25.’

Really?

If you don't think this style of posting is agressive, then perhaps you should think again.

You should try Anfield. The creases on my knees didn't fully come out till the following week.

Went in the late 90’s as far as I’m aware.

I was a frequent visitor at Highfield Road when I was at college in Coventry. My best memory was Feb 19th 1972. Albion were going for promotion, but we’re 0-0 at halftime at Shrewsbury. Cue ribbing from mates. As the full times were announced it came over “ Shrewsbury Town 3”...gales of laughter from “friends”......” Brighton and Hove Albion........5”.

Excellent!
.

all 8 goals scored in a 25 minute period

"The EFL remains firmly of the view that its member clubs should play in the towns and cities from which they take their name'.

Bolton don't play in Bolton though.

That's the same as saying Brighton don't play in Brighton. Bolton play in Horwich, which is a town in the borough of Bolton.

Doesn’t really matter when you go away though as everyone is standing up. I did have a strange request to sit down up at Wolves a couple of months ago. A bloke behind who could have easily booked a seat in the front row and who was just about the only person sitting down outside the front two rows. I swapped seats with my wife which seemed a reasonable compromise (she didn’t mind sitting down as much as I did) but all very odd given that he had chosen his place in the ground.
