I just entered Derby weather forecast in google and it came up with cooler and short sharp occasional showers so take wickets between showers.

Funny enough I am sure that's what Mark Davis implied when he was interviewed in the cometary box - it was like he has a more accurate weather forecast, and perhaps why he carried on batting. Hoping to bowl them out without batting again.

Not even sure how many records were broken by the batsmen yesterday but it was hopefully what will fill the summer months

Derbyshire 191

Sussex 468/5 (122.0 ov)

Sussex lead by 277 runs with 5 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

I assume the fact that the commentary is playing Talking Heads 'Were on a road to nowhere' means its raining

Derbyshire 191
Sussex 468/5 (122.0 ov)
Sussex lead by 277 runs with 5 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Yes - 'start delayed by rain'.

As this is also the case at Edgbaston, Lords, Canterbury, Chelmsford, Leicester and Cardiff, chances of imminent play seem remote.
