Sussex to secure the win with about 5 overs to spare tommorow evening!

Approximately 45 overs to go tonight.

96 minus the 5 tomorrow makes around 135 overs to get to that point and less than 240 runs to get, that is going to be a painful day to watch tomorrow then.

It will be over way before then. One way or tother......weather permitting, forecast is good BTW

Sussex have limped to 47/0 now at just over 6 an over.

All part of the Somerset plan obviously. Have them slogging like idiots and the wickets will come.

Sri Lankans taking a nice little pasting. 100/5, still 393 behind.

Our strong second string all fighting it out for Bresnan's place and sharing the wickets, expect Finn but it's probably less helpful to him at this earlyish time of the season.

71-0.

There is nothing more certain than Nash getting out with the job less than half done...

followed by a calamitous batting collapse from our so-called middle order.

Sri Lankans now 6 down. Dernbach (whose nickname is Dirtbag) has got three, I wonder if he'll be chucked in for the test. Would think we'll go with Shahzad though.

Anyone going over for the evening session? Am I right in saying it's free entry after Tea for championship games?

50 up, Hans. It's got to be recognised with a raised bat.

That's fine, but only with an acknowledgement that they were LUCKY runs, and that he's sure to get out without scoring any more...
