Maybe but still prone to throw his wicket away when he is looking to get a big score.

Sussex following-on this morning, trailing by 242 runs on first innings, with 95 overs to play today.

Needs some of the top order to show some spine today.

I've played at the Nevill Ground. Its beyond flat. A lovely place to experience playing but a hiding to nothing as a fast bowler.

If the batsman show application and concentration, then anyone simply looking to survive ought to be almost impossible to get out.

This would appear to support your point. From the BBC live feed...

If you're a fan of Kent or Sussex, you might be wondering why I haven't updated you on what's going on at Tunbridge Wells.

The truth is, there's very little happening. Barely anything in fact.

Sussex still have all ten wickets intact, but they've also scored just five runs in the last ten overs.

Bigger crowds for a Southwick wanderers match #weredoomed
I watched a day of Glamorgan v Kent at Sofia Gardens a few weeks ago, there was about 30 other supporters. On the plus side, no queueing for beer and burgers.

Luke Wright out... for 38 from 84 balls, lbw Tredwell (with the new ball!)

237-5 (83.3) trailing by 5 with 12.3 overs remaining. Why are they still out there?
