Don't you love the change of style, and how this has given new momentum
Course it helps with the likes of Knocky rampaging down the right wing
Teams sussed our style but maybe don't quite know which Albion will turn up now

Winning games without having majority possession

Not so different from Leicester

We've got the pace to counter attack now. When it was just LuaLua, he would run on his own and have to stop because nobody went with him. There are two or three in the team who have pace which makes the difference.

I reckon this will be the Albion's biggest asset with three away matches coming up in quick succession. From being a good, solid but predictable outfit for the first half of the season (that's not a criticism by the way), we now look dangerous from any position and at any time.

We also, now, look capable of scoring every time we break from defence. That's something we haven't seen very often over the last four seasons.

It's great. So much pace and trickery going forward. Murphy absolutely roasted the RB for the first goal yesterday and defenders don't know how to handle Knocky when he charges forward with the ball

We'd be even better if Bong was fit.

It's thrilling, and I liked the Gus-keep-ball/tiki-taka stuff too. It's not just pace, it's strength too -- Knockaert relied on it yesterday for Hemed's goal, which was probably our best of the season. Leicester have shown how it's done. What shocked me was against Brentford we had 35% possession, yet we really should have scored five or six. The real test will come in the next few games, Hull especially. The onus is on the opposition, playing at home, to take it to us, but that might just make us even more dangerous, as it opens up the opportunity to pounce on the break.

We always had the best possession stats but that was often because we played it across our back line again and again. Teams just let us have the ball knowing that sooner or later we'd give it away. That what comes with the obsession with stats.

Apparently Leicester have the poorest possession stats. Just shows it's not so much about having the ball, it's what you do with it.

Heard this being discussed yesterday too - Leicester have one of the worst possession stats in the PL but also the worst pass completion rate (as they are always looking to break so quickly and the killer pass).

This is so true. And judging by a couple of weeks ago, Bobby can still go end to end to do a Vardy!

Sadly for all concerned that's where the similarity ends, as Vardy isn't then shown on the giant screen hands on knees, before limping back to the centre spot.

Been supporting the albion for 40 years, i can't remember ever being so excited going to match. Just think how much better could be with an out and out striker in the ranks, although the current stock are not doing to bad.

We just need Kayal to find some form now.

At fault for both Bolton goals on Saturday.

I can't think of a Brighton player with the energy, talent and doggedness of Knockaert and maybe we're basing our current tactics around his qualities.

Still not quite used to watching us have so little of the ball, after years of dominating possession at home, though as others have said we often spent hours doing that without threatening the opposition.

Our defence isn't quite as watertight as it used to be so maybe we will see a lot more 3-2s and 5-3s in this new counterattacking era.

He's so solid and won't be pushed off the ball. That little bit in the second half when he dribbled inside 2 players, was fouled (ref played on) and then still managed to keep going despite being constantly tugged back. He's got the lot...please, please don't get injured
