It doesn't explain the clapping smilies, the laughing smilies and the absolute hysteria that follows on NSC today and every other time they lose.

Other than the fact that they are an opponent of us currently, why does anyone CARE enough to have positive feelings when they win and negative ones when they lose?

Just thought I'd explain my reason for hating Leeds

I dislike Leeds United (with VERY good reason) to be extremely happy when they lose, maybe "cream ourselves" is not the terminology I peronally would have used, but seeing as i was not the thread starter, I am happy to continue the use.

I'm quite happy to discuss what they do ON the pitch. I'm even prepared to be slightly happy they lost today. What is f***ing sad is the thousands of pages posted on this site this year about their financial situation - I mean, who gives a f***? I'm willing to bet there aren't hundreds of threads on Leeds boards about how much they hate, or even care about, Brighton!

Every supporter of clubs in league one (except you of course) gives a f***. Leeds went bankrupt, had 94% of their debts wiped out and suddenly had cash to splash on players we could only dream about, if fact one of their, not good enough players, came to us and was arguable the best player we had last season.

Why should they get away with it when our club has had 10 years of hell financially and somehow we have won two championships and one play off final with the small amount of money we have on the players side.

No Leeds dont care about Brighton, Leeds care about no one but themselves.

How far they've fallen isn't the issue though. It's the fact that people find it so funny and claim they 'hate' Leeds for no apparent reason.

Why?

Ken Bates for a start, I really hate him, he is poison to the game we all love.
Next, a significant minority of their fan base, violent, foul, lowlife.
Finally, because of the way posters on this site, who are leeds fans, spout such shite.

That's 3 reasons that I can think of, sorry if you don't like it, but a lot of people really Hate Leeds, and have their own reasons, those are three of mine.

NB. Having just read your post again, you say people "claim" to hate Leeds for no apparent reason, well that counts me out, as I have several apparent reasons to hate them, sorry for taken up so much of your time.

Nice to know that the Leeds fans are now planning their away trips to Hereford , Peterborough and Milton Keynes , no doubt boasting about selling out the ticket allocations and keeping the small clubs afloat when they pay them a visit. Perhaps the realisation of being in denial about Leeds still being a big club will slowly dawn on them. In League 1 they are just one of 24 clubs , nothing more nothing less.

Of course the Leicester situation was disgraceful. But it happened at a time when those sort of dealings went unpunished, in fact they set the benchmark for such behaviour. What has happened at Leeds has been done since the lesson of leicester was learnt.

Anyway, the exact implications for each club are largely irrelevant. What I want to know is why so many nerds on here get off on Leeds, yet Leicester (who were also in our division at the time) are ignored? If you have some other reason for disliking Leeds, fair enough, I have no problem with that, but some people DO need a life.

But you cant really take the piss out of Leicester unless you live in the Midlands.
