Could you please help me identify these Albion players from 1984-86?

I've just scanned some pictures for the Seagulls TV website as I am gradually putting together a section on 1983-91 that will include player profiles, videos and results.

Could you help me to name the players here, from 1984/85 and 1985/86?

I think Knightsworld might be right with Hans Kraay. I thought he was after 1986 but he wasn't.

So it looks like we've reached an agreement on all but the bottom row middle picture...

That image is from the cover of the programme v Blackburn on 7 Sept 1985. At that point in the season, the outfield players had been Martin Keown, Gavin Oliver, Kieran O'Regan, Chris Hutchings, Graham Pearce, Danny Wilson, Steve Jacobs, Eric Young, Gary O'Reilly, Steve Penney, Dean Saunders, Alan Biley, Justin Fashanu, Terry Connor, Dennis Mortimer.

In a process of elimination, I think we can rule out Young, Fashanu and Connor

Hove Born and Bred is right on all of them although its not a clear shot of Steve Penney middle bottom and middle top I think may even be Gordon Smith.

That's the 83/84 kit without the horizontal stripes and he was still with us then

To Rool re Hove born&bred's post. No. You're right and he is wrong. It's Paul Dickov when he was on loan to us. The tears were streaming down his face when the rest of the players gave him a surprise going away present in the Players' Lounge, after his last game for us.

It's not Paul Dickov, those pics are from 85-86 when Paul Dickov would have been about 15

He played for us about 8 years later when Liam Brady was manager I believe
