Manure are a mess, players arguing no tracking back or effort from the overpaid mercenaries. If Che Adams could put away a sitter they would of beaten them, no reason why we can’t .
Looking at the table at the moment, our most likely finish is in the region 7th-13th. Anything outside of that requires an exceptional run of form (good or bad). If you accept this argument (plenty won't this is NSC) it suggests we have more chance of dropping down the table than rising up.
Man Utd though are in a tailspin and look anything like a team. It should be possible to find a team from that squad, but the longer it goes on the more likely it is they will plunge towards mid table and a fire sale of superstars in the summer. It would cap a memorable season to finish above them and or Spurs or Arsenal.
I still think United at some point will get their shit together and go on a pretty good run... they have a squad that should finish somewhere between 4-6 and that will be above Brighton. They overperformed when coming second last season.
"Solving" the non-problem with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did, as expected, nothing to improve them. They have problems that are far deeper than Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, OGS or Rangnick.
