The answer to the question is yes.

However, it's never as simple as that. In order to achieve that a fair few things are in our control but some factors come down to pure luck.

On one hand GP will be successful this season if he can maintain the same levels that we have seen so far this season. The levels in regard to attitude, ambition, concentration, fitness and mentality need to stay consistently high. What could ultimately harm our progress would be a mid season slump of which we are accustomed to. If we can avoid that then we should be comfortably top of the bottom half or even higher.

On the other hand the factors that are out of our control. We have not really been impacted by a major injury to one of our key players. Imagine a few months without Dunk, Tariq, Maupay for example. We can cope without Jose and others but we have been very fortunate in that regard so far in the PL.

I would suggest we just enjoy the moment and hope that we maintain our levels in each of the games and avoid any bad luck. If we can do that we will be comfortable.

In a league where defending seems to have gone out of fashion we (a team with so much defensive talent) could prosper as long as we continue to show endeavour up top.

No we are not the new Wolves.

Many pundits predicted we would have most of the ball and would cause Newcastle problems.
Few Premier League manager's will play into our hands as much as Bruce did on Sunday.
Good to know that if they do, we will tear them apart though.

Despite the Cheslea defeat Brighton won a few plaudits and Sky practically licking Tairqu's ass at the moment..Making Newcastle look poor yet they tore apart the hammers last week.
Could we become the surprise package this year? time will tell..

you heard it here first if we do :)

Way ahead of yourself. We looked champagne in our first game last season away at Watford. Also 3-0.

We saw what happened later. We will get a run of a few losses, injury's etc. Don't think we will be top ten yet, but 11-14 is improving, so heres hoping.

I think the best we can dare to hope for right now is 10th. If we achieved that it would be an amazing achievement. If we beat United on Saturday then I’m sure some people will start dreaming....
