Walsall was the first real time I've seen a bulk of support turn on the team.I'm expecting a lot of booing....

The team came in for a lot of stick at Carlisle which nearly turned nasty amongst our own fans.

I disagree.

I think the foundations for this side were very much laid by Adams, who assembled a team that has now gotten into a habit of losing. It is very difficult to turn that around in a very limited period of time.

Micky Adams assembled a squad not a team - that is an underlying problem (imo).

brighton, actually
An EMPTY stadium will talk volumes.

I can't believe any team can expect fans to pay £20-25 a game for this s***.

Have better, more IMPORTANT, things to spend the money on.

like food, bills etc.

BHa didnt come to me when i was poorly, sofeck the lotr of them.

Adams has been the man taking the shite though.

Now what happens? Supporters turn on White? Supporters turn on Knight?
Or supporters turn on the players (shite?)

I'm going for the latter, assuming defeat of course!

I think we should all turn on each other

Yeah, but you'll be straight back when we start winning again. Yes, this season has ben shite, but it's not the first crap season- nor will it be the last.

After 20 years watching the albion i'm not about to sack it off now, getting beaten at home by Tranmere still beats traipsing round churchill square on a saturday afternoon......

A few rousing choruses of "What a waste of money" and "You're not fit to wear the shirt" or perhaps even "There's only one Dean Wilkins" might get the message across...

ewe2,you must be a recent supporter because the last three seasons have been rubbish.
It is not the fault of the managers or players because although a number of very good managers were appointed, particularly Coppell the board were unable to provide them with the necessary finances to build a promotion team.
The future is now bleak as whether we are in Div 1 or 2 next year gates are sure to go down.

Are you completely stupid?

Please tell us where these finances are supposed to come from-bearing in mind how much money has been sucked out of the club thanks to a very long planning application battle that has left the club 11 MILLION in debt yet still alive?

As for the last three seasons being rubbish-who, other than the players, do you think are responsible for some pretty dire, couldn't give a shit performances from the players? (deliberate use of players twice in case you haven't guessed yet).

Even ifthey battle long and hard and we lose to a dodgy last minute penalty??? Nice one. :wozza:

I don't give a shit. A LOSS is a LOSS. I am fed up with losing, the players are all losers and if they lose regardless of ANOTHER bad luck story, another bad ref, another bobble on the turf, another bit of bad luck, blah blah blah they will getting it LARGE from me. My patience has worn out. To be honest half our squad are wankers at the moment.

OK fair enough, maybe I should have used the word squad instead. Either way it was assembled by Adams. An attitute, mentality and confidence of a squad is difficult to turn around in the short period of time, but it can be done (Crewe, Orient, Swindon).

The problem for me earlier in the season was that Adams seemed to prefer a team of 'plodders', to one that would get the ball down and play. Fair enough this may get you somewhere when you're battling for a point away at the team top of the table, but it certainly isn't the way to go when you're playing at home to a team who have 9 men, or team hasn't won away all season and conceded about 5 a game (Hereford).

I still think there is a chance that if results go our way on Saturday, Slade can turn it round, but he does need our support.
