No chance, but he'd be one hell of a signing. He must have half an eye on getting back in the England reckoning if he can have a decent season where hie is.

Pretty sure BZ will make the Albion his pre-retirement contract at some point. But not for a few seasons yet.

Not long left now though. Bobby is 31 now, and has another 3 years left on his lucrative QPR contract.

It was different when we were shit - he'd have been easily good enough at any age.

If we are at the top of this league or the lower half of the Prem, in three or four years time, will we actually want a 35 year Bobby?

He'll miss the boat if it doesn't happen in the next two seasons...

AND...for about the 50th time this summer !....and exactly the same responses for the umpteenth time . Why do people post this drivel, when they must, realisticaly know, that he is earning a fortune, and we cant pay him the fortune that he is on !
He may love the club.....but not enough to come down to the sort of money that we could pay him.
Please, stop living in cloud cuckoo land . Get a grip of reality and lets just look forward to what should be a fantastic season .

Ok then. If not Zamora who then?

By rights and your statement, that should also rule us out of the likes of Beckford, cole and Heskey.

As I've said before its a complete myth that Zamora is on over £30k a week.

Certainly think it rules out Heskey.....thats been another crap thread all summer. Beckford is nearer the sort of money we can pay...BUT..he still may not want to drop . Cole....again not sure!
And its not a myth about BZ being on over £30 K a week. Think you need to check the salaries out of top strikers in the premiership . BTW...Barton was/is on over £40 K a week at the same club. £30 k a week in the premiership is peanuts !
Gus has said...and keeps saying ..The striker is the most complicated position to fill.. all clubs are after the same guys.
And NONE have gone for Bobby Z...he's QPR's main striker. Not transfer listed.. and there has never been an inkling from QPR that they want to sell. Oh...and apart from wages , he would probably cost in the region of £5- 8 mill ...maybe more .
They are not going to give him away !!

It will probably be someone most of us have never heard of like Bruno.

We are not in the market for a premiership striker as we cannot afford it. Some of the names being banded around are ridiculous.
