[Albion] Could be Dunk v Mitrović ?

If our Lewis plays on Sunday- he will probably come up against his old foe Mitrović.

I seem to recall he hasn’t had the best of exchanges with him in the games they have played against each other?

I might be right in thinking that Dunk has struggled on every occasion?

Can anyone provide any stats to back this up or am I imagining it ? 🤔

Amazed this hasn’t been mentioned on any other thread

If it has, then I apologise 🤦🏻‍♂️

But to save me trawling through loads of threads - could you post the link to the thread as I would be interested to see the stats of Dunk v Mitrovic 👍

Mitrovic has faced Albion (and Dunk) in five competitive matches - all in the Premier League. He started just three of those (and had less than 15 minutes in the other two).

So, it isn't a huge dataset.

However, in his three starts he scored once, twice and once, so four goals in three starts.

It's extremely unlikely Dunk will get a game, unless it's the 3rd group game and we're already out . . .

It's quite possible pies have take Mitrovic hostage. Whatever cashcow league he's in won't be anywhere as competetive as PL and EU league type stuff.

But Motrovic is/was too quick/smart/strong for Dunk on his day

Dunk won't be picked for any games.

He may get some minutes but I'd be surprised if Dunk got much game time. Still a fantastic achievement making the squad mind

Thank you 👍

That’s the reply I was hoping for

IMHO Dunk starts on Sunday against this one dimensional thug. Stones has been sick and the Palace defender is not very tall, they are the other likely starters.

Hopefully he now has a plan to stop this brute after the bullying he has taken in previous match ups.

Like Spain 82 he might get a run out in the 3rd group game like Fozzie did against Kuwait
Fozzie played all three of the group matches. I think, anyway. Got dropped for phase 2.

EDIT: Nope. I was wrong. I'll go on the Statto Humiliation Step

Players often emerge during a tournament, and it's not inconceivable that that could be our Lewis, but very proud regardless of how many minutes he plays
