I only say he thinks he is bigger than the club because of his attitude. After the Spurs game he was comparing himself to Jermain Defoe and saying that he shoukld be in the England set up. IMHO Leon should look at what division he is in look at hias record in it and try and improve. I don't see any sign of that. I see a player happy to take the cash and not give 100%.. and then not show any respect. The armband thing was unavoidable, anyone can see that. So why didn't Leon try to avoid it. His attitude again.

A teacher gets swore at every day by their pupils do they swear back? People on customer service desks get sworn at they don't swear back. Why hasn't Leon got self control? I can't see why he should be condoned for swearing at supporters. He is paid an expensive salary and can't act professionally. As one of those contributing to his salary i don't think its good enough.

It was avaoidable but Leon chose the easy route. Shame he doesn't think about his actions. Still if he hasn't twigged that keepers do their homework then there no hope for the rest of us.

Where did he say that he should be in the England set-up ? ... or was he hinting on the U21? If his form comes back why not.
He is like Defoe .. short and a bit stroppy. As for the arm band, silly but hardly a capital crime. Swearing at supporters is a no.. no i grant you, But if you dish it out you better be able to take it. Always makes me laugh when players get called everything under the sun and then the fans get upset when they dish it back. I thought he was paid to play football, not PR work.
As for comparing him with a teacher .. got a grip for christsake, teachers spend at least a year learning how to handle crap like this, with plenty of supervision etc. He's a young bloke who left school 16.

If this had been Carpenter or the like there'd have been bugger all outrage but cause its Leon, the self rightegous come out of the woodwork.

As for the pen ... well he managed at Cardiff so I'll give him this one.

One other thing, Leon 5'6" .. 9 stone, everage defender 6'1" 13 stone ... now why doesn't he challenge them the lazy bastard?

One thing I will say in defence of Ian Hart is that despite holding a phone-in on SCR, he is not a journalist, he is an undertaker.

I don't agree with what he was saying on Saturday, the bit I heard anyway, but he is a bloke who was speaking from the heart - much the same as many do on here.

The rights and wrongs of his show are a different matter but I just felt the need to say that he just does it in his spare time rather than as a paid BBC employee.

Now you're just making up that last bit, aren't you? He never said he should be in the England squad, it's just your latest attempt to have a dig. At least base your moans on fact.

There is unlikely to be an apology, just a remark about posters on NSC hiding behind silly names.

Harty or Liz if you do read this, I think you got it wrong, you've over-reacted, and shouldn't have aired those views in the way you did.

And I am more than happy to step out from behind "Gritt23" if that makes a difference over your response.
