25 minutes and no emergency services. Must have taken the day off.

:lolol: A burly fireman just explained there was a massive RTC on the M62 :lolol:

So anyone in a mere (multi victim) explosion or tram catastrophe would be a downgraded response of course

Sunita appears to be fubar'd, judging by the typically magnificent acting display by future Oscar candidate Dev.

Is it a sort of death by rhyming? Rita, Peter & Sunita?

Good job EastEnders didn't join in or things would be looking bad for Gita.

Tuesday.
Chille con Carne, innit.

Get there when we get there.

I thought it was snooker night? :p

(we were all busy shopping for donuts and the paramedics were asleep in their La-Z-Boys)

I am expecting Jason to heroically emerge from the flames.

Is Nick Tilsley in there? I do hope so.

Just turned this on. Judging by the "action" and the thread, the crash has already happened?!

Does that mean this is wrong - Coronation Street celebrates 50 years with a live episode - Telegraph - or is there ANOTHER crash?

Britain’s longest-running soap celebrates its 50th anniversary with a literal bang on Thursday night with a special live episode featuring a runaway tram careering onto the Weatherfield cobbles, cutting dramatically through the cast and their tangled plot lines alike.

Coronation Street Live is on ITV1 on Thursday 9 December at 8.00pm

Woah, just watched most of the omnibus and that was pretty harrowing viewing. Poor Claire. It won't be the same without Ashley.

So it's looking like Peter Barlow, that stalker woman whose name I don't know, and Our Ashley.

So, the remaining two (after Ashley and Molly) look like coming from Rita, Peter....and Charlotte (about to have her life-support machine turned off, so seems like a fair bet)...my money is on Peter to survive.

Molly looked like the girl from the Exorcist last week. I don't think she smiled once when she was in Corrie.

Fair shout Durlston...she had incredibly piercing blue eyes...but always looked bloody miserable.

Ashley, Molly and Charlotte obviously and then be joined by Rita who will die on the way to or in hospital ,and Nick and Peter to finish up good mates seems to obvious.

Unless Colin Fishwicks mum turns up and John Snape does her in immediately to try to lose her in the rubble like he was going to do with Charlotte.

I think Peter's going to croak. They've built it up with (apparently: I missed it) him marrying Leanne, and Ken thinking he's turned the corner after surgery. So I reckon it'll be an emotional reunion with the family...and then BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! Flatline :D
