Here, there and everywhere
For a while now I've had a hankering for some good old-fashioned corned beef :moo:

NOT the stuff out of a tin, and not jewish brisket (which seems to be the US meaning of the word).

Does anyone know of any shops or restaurants where I can get it? I had it once at the Ivy a few years ago and it was amazing, but no longer on the menu.

Depends how you are defining "corned". Try http://www.henson.co.uk/ , their salt/corned beef is amazing.

EDIT: Hmmm - maybe this is the "Jewish brisket" to which you refer?

CB and pickle sandwiches for lunch today. Did the job.

Probably not the gastro-delight you are talking about, but three slices for £1 in M&S :jester:
