Corbyn's vision for our country under a Labour government is transparently a decent one.

But is one we can not afford and would push us back in time to Union rule from the 1970s and more importantly is likely to be rejected by voters

You are entitled to an opinion but the problem has been that you have posted nothing to support your comments.

Also, how do you claim to be in the consensus, where is your evidence that the majority of the public want to get rid of our nuclear capability? The opinion polls I've seen suggest otherwise. I would add that a lot depends on the question asked. In some polls there is a majority not to replace trident but to find a cheaper alternative, ie retain a nuclear capability. A lot of polls are close.

I don't claim to be an expert but I'm not going to post drivel with no evidence. Where you are right is that no one knows what the outcome would be. No of us want a nuclear war it's just that we are split on how best to achieve that.

Frightening but that is the biggest bomb made and there was only one of them. Wiki suggests that it weighed 25 tonnes and was 8 metres long and the problem is delivery of the bomb that size, hence only one was made (and subsequently detonated). The US has bombs half that size, still devastating though! Russian capability is estimated at a total of 830mt split between about 2500 missiles suggesting the warheads are considerably smaller than the 'Tsar Bomba'.

I don't believe Nuclear weapons will ever be launched by any territory. All governments are linked at the very highest level, even so called lone states such as North Korea. Big business calls the shots at a higher level than politicians and warmongers. They are not going to destroy the gravy train.
