what an absolute bunch of nob jockeys !!! I live in brighton and think the town is top. A better town that soton but thats not the point you cretins. Any f*cking idiot could post pictures of moulescombe, whitehawk or even the burnt down west pier. There are sh1t areas of every town.

The fact is brighton is not really a footballing town. Its a cosmopolitan town full largely of people who werent brought up there. And isnt this board for football related issues.
bollocks!

My point was that there really aren't ANY nice bits of Southampton.

It's also a far more scary place to spend a Saturday night.

I used to work round the corner from St Mary's and if ever one of the women in my department couldn't get into the company car park and had to park somewhere else in the area I'd have to act as henchman to escort them to their car due to the fear everyone had of being raped, beaten or mugged.

Lovely place

True mate it's the door mat of the country, it's where people wipe the shit of their shoes as they enter.

Better still £15 a year and you could rent a house in Derby Road.

You're not wrong.

I live in Southampton after deciding to stay here after uni.

I like it here & it's more aesthetically pleasing than South London.

Every town or city has it's sh*t areas but Southampton also has plenty of green parks, nice restaurants & plenty of expensive areas to live.

do we really need to have a Southampton v Brighton city debate. Seriously?

After 30 years of the BBC's Sally 'Minging' Taylor, and Fred 'Smugcunt Pompey' Dineage ....well frankly YES.

It was sometime in the 1960s that Southampton got the idea it was the capital of the south coast, wheras we all know that honour and privelege belongs to us,

BRIGHTON & HOVE.

Probably true about Brighton not being a football CITY but Sussex IS a football county so that more than makes up for it.

As you say every town/city has crap areas just some have more than others!!!
