Coppell's going nowhere says player

If Coppell has signed a contract then he should honour it. If he can't do that then he shouldn't have signed it in the first place.

If we were below half way and had lost a few on the trot.Would you want his head ? Some would ?
If Dick sacked him who would care about his contract then ?
Wasn't Hinshelwood on a contract ?
He only signed a contract to keep the job until a better one came along.
As Knight has said if the manager wants to talk to other clubs about going it is best to show him the door and let him get on with it. If Dick Knight couldn't convince him to stay then get him out.

Talking of contracts...............I have signed a contract to be a Albion fan for the next three years.There are though certain clauses written in to my contract which say that if a team from a higher division should invite me to be a fan of their club then I have permission to talk to them with the possibility that I can go and support them at any time.I am though at this moment only concerned with saturdays game and will be there as usual to support Brighton in what will be a difficult match I`m sure.I will not speculate at this moment as to whether I will still be a supporter of the Albion for the Grimsby home game.Needless to say I am an ambitious supporter and would like to support at the very highest level.

I said this earlier, but I'll say it again.

At least Steve Coppell has signed a contract.

Peter Taylor never signed a contract. We got no compensation.

Shortly before he left, Micky Adams signed a new contract. That ensured we got compensation.

Someone might care to ponder whether signing a new contract is an early indication that the manager in question has every intention of leaving, but has the decency to set the Club up with a compensation package.
