Hardly likely - Evans is now the Rotherham supremo - bizarre move by him to think that Rotherham Utd had more potential than Crawley - what does he know that on-one else does??
When Gus goes on to bigger and better things it's not far for Coppell to nip down the A23.
Very interesting ...wasnt he Blooms first choice?..
Rotherham have far more potential than Crawley, they are moving into a new stadium in the summer and will likely have 3x the support of Crawley and a bigger budget.
Coppell's joined Crawley not Rotherham.
Really!!
Crawleys av crowd 3047, best 4225 min 2182
Rotherham av crowd 3489, best 5368, min 2447.

That is Rotherham's average, playing in an athletics stadium in a neighbouring town. Hardly a fair comparison.Really!!

Crawley had just under 4800 for the Crewe game on Friday with only 400 Crewe fans. I think gates will improve and if they get to Wembley via the play offs reckon around 15-20k will get tickets. (plastics i know, and I will be one of them)
It's going to be a strange situation for the new manager, when appointed. having a high profile name in football as a director of football. Just how much influence will Coppell have?
i think Coppell will be the manager next season, Im not sure crawley can afford to have the luxury of both.
Why not announce him as manager now to get them through the playoffs?
