Having read that thread I was quite surprised how animated some of the posters got about Coppell's comments, I mean its not like he slagged off Reading, and we were historically the "bigger" club. It rather came across that some of them had a bit of an inferiority complex! But that history isn't a reflection of now, as many of them pointed out, but could be seen as an indicator of the future. Lets face it, Reading are potentially a peer, albeit an entirely unglamorous one!!

Isn't this whole "Albion bigger potential than Reading" just a story that has been re-cycled from the last march in Brighton or some such event?

I certainly didn't think it's something he's just come out with...
