Thanks Bozza!! I am glad someone trusts me.

Of course if Coppell doesn't leave on Monday/Tuesday me and Hinsh are going to look very silly aren't we!!

But the wider issue is that he obviously doesn't want to manage us anyway? Remember the summer farce where he basically waited for someone to come in with a better offer!!

If he doesn't go to Reading, and honestly Hinsh is sure he will, then it can only be for financial reasons and not because he wants to stay with us. Please stoip treating him as some sort of god.

I mean reading the Argus today you would think he was Alex Ferguson for christs sake. I don't remember them running a similar campaign to keep Adams who was a god.

Obviously struggling for headlines today.

Support the team today...forget the manager.

just shut up Helga anyone who's a friend of Hinshelwood and has no shame in blurting out names on a major Brighton board is no friend of NSC.

I am not getting into a Helga is a liar or I know Helga, because each would be very untrue statements I am sure. However, as Helga states above , 'Hinsh is sure' means it is his opinion, rather like me speculating that my boss is going to take another job offer. I agree , my opinion is he will go, but then I am very cynical regarding all things Albion. BUT he is still our manager and I for one will be supporting him until he goes, at which time I will support the next lucky incumbent of the pulpit at my church.

I never said I was his friend for goodness sake.

If I didn't tell you who had told me it would have no credibility would it.

Listen Guys

Whatever your feelings, please don't boo Coppell today.

We need the 3 points!!

If there is an "atmosphere" it will feed through to the players and the only people that will benefit will be Blackpool.

I know it may not be easy for some to show restraint, but should Steve go, an extra 3 points today will be a nice welcome for the new manager.

Spot on! If nothing else it is our duty to get behind the team.

There are so many conflicting reports - lets just support him whilst he still IS Brighton manager - he deserves no less.

Steve Coppell has not made up his mind yet, so somebody is lying!

What i want to know is why Hinshelwank hasn't been sacked for leaking this information?

Having said that he should have been sacked from the club a year ago, he's obviously got his tongue up someones rusty bullet hole!

Sorry - meant to say, given that any idiot could work out that Coppell was going I hardly think he should be sacked for 'leaking'

After all no one believed it anyway did they!!

I think it's a disgrace that Hinshelwood leaked this. I didn't have a go at Helga for the story but was amazed that a so-called senior member of staff was leaking stories (undermines DK and the rest of the board)

The problem with the rather believable story of Helgas that is corresponded to the exactly opposite story by Steve Coppell on SCR where (allegedly) he said he has not actually been offerred the job and that he had not made up his mind.

On reflection this does not seem credible. I doubt if I even thought so at the time, hence "somebody" is lying, not saying exactly who?

If he doesn't go tomorrow Knight should put some pressure on him.

If Steve doesn't want to manage the Albion he should go now and not prevaricate.

Knight needs to show some class and appoint someone who wants to manage us and not muck us around.

If this means someone with less experience then so be it. We have a good side, top support, and in case anyone, including Mr Coppell has forgotten, WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

I don't want to see Brighton mucked around again in a year's time by some selfish tosser who thinks he's bigger than the club.

Indeed. At my company, a severe reprimand would be the best case scenario for leaking stories. It doesn't matter if they are true or not, it displays a lack of regard for any confidentiality clause. Perhaps MH needs one inserting into his contract - we have to sign them for every client we work for.
