Look I hardly ever post. However it has been annoying me all day how the club is trying to pretend that the decision has not been made when it obviously has.

Coppell is going. Don't waste your breath tomorrow trying to persuade him otherwise.

so if he is going why is Silent having the charrade of himon the bench? dont make sense, but hten neither does way Silents brain works been smoking too much that weed i reckon, pipe dreaming of Falmer again. GET DEAN WILKINS on there even if its one match he is a true Albion legend thats what he fans demand and he will get the respect a Manager needs to work with the players come on silent look no furthef it has to be DEAN WILKINS

Your first sentence FG makes a good point. If he's leaving why go through the charade of Saturday? The people who cheer him will look stupid come Monday and those who boo him will be 'blamed for making him leave'. I forsee civil war among us for months over this.

Hate to say it but he should NOT be there today regardless of his final decision which personally I think will be to go to Reddung.

His appearance at Withdean will, as Brovian says, will lead to a mini civil war amongst us-today and in the future.

I'm heading out for Withdean shortly and am very confused as to how I should behave towards him. Part of me wants to say "Stay Steve and become an Albion legend". Another part of me wants to say "f*** off now you wanker-you've used us to put yourself in the shop window and wherever you go from now on I sincerely hope you f*** up big time".

What do I do?

Boo or boo-hoo????

Support him whilst he's here, it may be for a while. Sing songs about vd and hurl abuse AFTER he's gone.

I think I'm going to focus on support for the players-Coppell has already decided what he's doing and my cheering him will not influence his decision either way now. I've now reached the point where I personally don't give a shit what he does anymore.

The players need our full support today-after all, they must all be getting complexes about managers not liking them:jester:

I left a job last year to join a competitor, but during my notice period I still gave 100% to the old employer because it would be unprofessional not to do so. Whatever your opinion of SC (and I admit to being a fan of his), you cannot accuse him of being amateurish in his approach to the club or the players, so there is no reason why he will not want to leave on a high today

I will support the team. If he's going to go nothing I say will make any difference.

But Reading and John Madeski are scum whichever way you look at it.

Get behind Coppell and try and make him stay?

Boo him and have empty pockets Knight appoint a Hinshelwood type person?

I know which i'll be doing...

And P.S. What does Martin Hinshelwank know? He couldn't run a prayer in a mosque!

I've seen Hinshlewood referred to as the Director of Youth now on the official site or programme. He's slipped ack to his old job quietly!

I'll be cheering Coppell today!

Still don't get it. The Chairman is saying that he hasn't made up his mind yet and the crowd should get behind him - and then a, supposedly, senior figure at the club says he's definitely going. If this is true and I was DK, I wouldn't be particularly happy with my senior staff!!!

I have just heard from an informed source that Steve will stay. Also that new signing Wayne Rooney will make his debut and Elvis will perform live at half time.

'tis true I tell you!

Listen Guys

Whatever your feelings, please don't boo Coppell today.

We need the 3 points!!

If there is an "atmosphere" it will feed through to the players and the only people that will benefit will be Blackpool.

I know it may not be easy for some to show restraint, but should Steve go, an extra 3 points today will be a nice welcome for the new manager.

Thanks Bozza!! I am glad someone trusts me.

Of course if Coppell doesn't leave on Monday/Tuesday me and Hinsh are going to look very silly aren't we!!

But the wider issue is that he obviously doesn't want to manage us anyway? Remember the summer farce where he basically waited for someone to come in with a better offer!!

If he doesn't go to Reading, and honestly Hinsh is sure he will, then it can only be for financial reasons and not because he wants to stay with us. Please stoip treating him as some sort of god.

I mean reading the Argus today you would think he was Alex Ferguson for christs sake. I don't remember them running a similar campaign to keep Adams who was a god.

Obviously struggling for headlines today.

Support the team today...forget the manager.
