I think from the other threads there is a strong feeling of action needed to prevent the climate crisis which has already begun, and we have a great opportunity in front of the TV cameras tomorrow to demonstrate our support for action. SO which songs do you thing we should get going tomorrow night??

How does any of this help support the team?

It doesn't, so leave it at the door and get behind the Albion

What sort of attitude is that?

Hark now hear the Brighton sing
The Greens are here to stay
And we won't fly for evermore
Unless of course there is an option to balance harmful aviation emissions through carbon credits.

- One Greta Thunberg, there's only Greta Thunberg!!

- You can stick your climate crisis up yer arse!!

- What do we want?? Climate Justice!! When do we want it?? Now!!

- No more coal, no more oil, keep your carbon in the soil!
No more petrol! No more diesel! Burning fossil fuels is evil!
No borders! No more nations! No more gas power stations!
Hey hey, ho ho, climate change has got to go!

-1,2,3,4
Climate change must be shown the door!.
5,6,7,8
How much longer can we wait?!

- Everywhere we go
People wanna know
Who we are?
And where we come from?
So we tell them:
We are the people
Who saved the planet
And if they can't hear us?
We shout a little louder

all of the above

Good old Saudi by the sea
Good old Saudi by the sea
And we'll tell them all that you sold your soul
To be Saudi by the sea

No thanks. There are other places and other ways to work towards climate change.
Tomorrow I would like to go and sing songs about The Albion and the players and be politely derogatory about the other team and maybe referee.

You haven't quite go the hang of a Crodo thread, yet, have you?

The temperature of the earth is lower than average (in human history). It was warmer in medieval times and even warmer before that, it’s a totally normal process. More CO2 in the atmosphere means more plants will grow hence why former desert areas are now green and crop yield is up. Antarctica’s ice sheet is getting bigger all the time, polar bears are thriving. Most of the earth’s heat is stored in the seas. CO2 is a tiny part of the make up of our atmosphere, less than 1%. CO2 levels were far, far higher in the past. Think about all the predictions they made decades ago, how many of them came true? You should be more worried about the planet cooling down rather than heating up, as that would cause loads more problems.

I'm not sure people will get the hang of that one... it's a bit wordy.

Is that to the tune of "My old man's a dustman?"

"Who's that girl who make things greener?
Who's that girl we all adore?
Greta Thunberg is her name
Carbon neutral is her aim
Then we won't have to worry anymore"
