Why have Skinner and Winterton got so many votes ???

I can't believe all of these people have seen them.

I guess that's the thing - nobody has seen them play, meaning they haven't been good enough to get near the first team even once.

Why have Skinner and Winterton got so many votes ???

I voted for them as it is clear that they were not going to feature for us at all and it is only fair on them to let them go, so that they can attempt to forge a career at some level, rather than having false hope that they will make it with us.

I am a great Gary Hart fan and I still think he can do a job. Not much of a Mayo fan but he's been good when he came on this year. Butters I would keep for his experience. I am mystified as to why Reid and Martot have been released and also why Loft has stayed. Can't really comment too much about the others - i thought Rents looked OK in his few games this year. Sullivan has looked OK when I have seen him play for the reserves. I also cannot understand why we signed McFaul and didn't use him after the glowing reports given him by DW - "One for the future" - in that case why only sign (and keep) him for 6 months ?
I know Chamberlain had a glowing recommendation from Beardsley when he played in the Youth Cup semi.
Looking at it on the other hand perhaps the players that have been released will get a better crack of the whip elsewhere.
Or perhaps there's big signings just around the corner and money has to be freed up for them.
Time may tell and there again . . .
