Ok, almost no reason. The Nazi example was a setup by the Germans, 9/11 probably wasn't, so the two examples don't seem similar to me.

Well that won't have been the first time in history the leaders have lied, so it may not have been a new lesson, but a reminder of what governments can do, if we needed one.
