Yes. And gone out on loan. So nobody has a clue how good he is.

Both will need to turn out to excellent players to get a profit on them.
A year ago, the sort of player we picked up for £1 million from somewhere .

If the clubs aim is to be consistently challenging for European qualification each season the level of players we sign for development will have to be of a higher quality. That means we need to spend more on them. Sure it means a bigger risk if they don’t work out, but the potential reward from those that do become first team players is a lot higher still.

I would also say you only have to have a couple really work out to cover the cost of the rest. Also we have a load of assets that will be raided soon enough. I'm sure T&P recognise that we had cash in the bank and next summer Mitoma and Pedro moving on for example would recoup a huge amount of this seasons outlay alone. Its basically about continuing to feed the beast. Much better to use thay cash to generate valuable assets than have it sit in the bank (ugh, I hate talking about football like that, but here we are.)

I've had a look - to answer my own question - and he doesn't seem to be related to Pernille. Perhaps Harder is a particularly common Danish name. Pity though, Pernille is some player

^^ this.

Always with the pipeline of talent. Loan them out first (ala Caicedo, Mitoma) get them developed, work permit if necessary, then when we eventually get a nice big offer for Mitoma, Pedro, or whoever Chelsea lust after next, reinvest a portion into the next two or three prospects. Integrate the successful loanees into the first team squad, loan out the new guys and repeat.

As you rightly say, it takes one of these to come off to basically fund the rest and we’re hugely in credit thanks to Bloom, Barber and their wonderful staff.

We definitely longer buy to replace unless we absolutely have to (Estupinan for Cucurella, where the offer is simply too good to refuse) - the plan is to have the replacement already, and ideally their replacement too.

Fairly common. I knew a Mads Harder when I lived over there. they don’t really pronounce a “hard D” (excuse the innuendo) in Danish though, it’s kind of swallowed (again, sorry).

So Mads Harder is more like “Mess Har-uh”

This has set alarm bells off amongst the Arsenal fans who are now even more convinced they are getting one of Ferguson, Pedro or Adingra tomorrow. Hopefully it's just forward planning so we're covered when we get raided next Summer 🤞🏻
Nico Williams is Arsenals top target surely their fans would want that deal done tomorrow.

I think this is it (assuming he does go on loan). It's an optimal time to buy and we are basically going back to the model of being several transfer windows ahead. The players we will have coming back to the club next summer is ridiculous and I wouldn't expect anything like this summer's business next year.

Worth getting in early with jokes about Brighton fans shouting ‘harder’?

I was going to ask how much "Harder" it was going to be to complete this deal but since fans will be shouting "harder" it won't seem as humourous.

Wie viel schwieriger wird es sein, diesen Deal abzuschließen?

Do you think if the fans started shouting "Schwerer" it would make Fabian laugh?

I think it's quite important that Brighton have a clue how good they believe he is o_O

Does appear as if we have a very good relationship with Nordsjaelland after the Adingra and Osman purchases and they seem to have given us the option on this lad before they sell to Sporting who have a similar model to us.
Seems a lot of money for someone who hasn’t scored that many goals but we take a risk with these purchases that we are taking them on before the player’s profile gets to the point that the big boys circle.
I think we said that of the Adingra purchase and that’s worked out well after a season on loan and his break out season with us last year.
