Recently, the Club have been publically accused of not being open with the fans. This has been down to a delay with a fan's forum and a failure for the Chairman to attend a recent radio interview (despite it being announced before anyone had spoken to the club)

I'd just like to thank the Club on behalf of the Brighton support for agreeing to the 'Fan's forum'. I'm not sure if ANY other club in the world have made such a honest gesture of openess with their fans. Indeed, do any other professional FC go so far out of their way to make sure the supporters get answer's to the questions which matter most to them?

:drink: So here's to you, Dick Knight, Martin Perry, and all the board/directors at the club. We've come along way since '97. Long may it continue.

Great move by the club... agree 100%... but the club MUST hold a fans forum for those not on the net...

We are planning one. The reason the usual pre-season Fans Forum didn't happen was because a venue couldn't be secured for the date MM, DK and MP were all available. We hoping for one sometime in the next couple of months.

I suppose in a perverse way we also have BensGrandad to thank - because the timing strongly suggests that some hard talking about the nature of the club's communication with the fans has been taking place.

Well done the club for it's bold move.

I would like to add my 'voice' to the above comments.

Thanks to the club for responding.

If that's the true reason, then that is very lame

Couldn't find a venue? Pull the other one :nono:

It was originally the Greyhound Stadium on the Wednesday but SCR decided they wanted to broadcast it but they could only do it on the Thursday.
The Greyhound stadium couldnt do it on the Thursdays so Southwick Football club was the venue and arranged but MM wasn't available that night (SCR didnt bother checking that detail) and so it had to be cancelled.

I was told this at the Lewes friendly.

Reading FC have a fans forum every few months, which concerns the football and commercial side of the club.

So there's ONE club who do...

I think Buscuit was referring to the NSC online forum not a meeting which I presume a lot of clubs do.
