hold on a second, we don't continuously start threads regarding Brighton, and you all talk about small Bournemouth, Is it not very similar size to Brighton as a place? and we have sold our ground nearly week in week out so no one knows how big our attendance would have been had we had the space, remember yours were not very big not so long ago, don't be so biased , you are no giants, and we are not minnows compared to you.

Given that your away allocation was 3000, how come you only brought 1500? Sorry, but you only just about hit 11000 doing well, in the Premier League (if you meet their ground regulations), you might get near to 15000 - 18000, with opposing fans and a few new intakes.

Who knows what'll happen if you ground-share with Southampton the attendance may drop.

We're alright you know! It has been a bit of an eye opener with the amount of grief we have got - mainly through gamesmanship that I don't like to see - but it seems to have been blown out of proportion when it comes to us, although we need to stand up more sometimes.

Saying that, its usually through twitter, etc - even Watford fans I know in 'the real world' are fine, whereas on social media you would have thought we are the new Luton! Anyway - the season is far from over, we really need to improve on saturday or it will be the play off lottery...

Would any Bournemouth fan care to explain why referees give them penalties against us, when no Brighton player has committed an offence (October 2010 and January 2014), yet fail to give us a penalty when one of their players blatantly scoops the ball away with his hand in the box (this month)?

The first one was incredibly unfortunate for you, luckily it didn't effect you and you still got promoted. I was there, so obviously couldn't see a bloody thing at the time, but got texts telling me how poor the decision was. The second one was a penalty. Not one of your players complained about it. Just watch Dunk's reaction you can tell he knows he's cocked up.

Regarding FFP - our stadium is £350k to rent per year. Easily covered by 2 home games including water and electric, probably cleaning after every game too. We have next to no over heads.

Yes Jones is expensive and easily our top earner. £30,400 per week, for 6 weeks. £182,400 total, covered by our 2 recent and one upcoming games on Sky. He got us a point at Ipswich which if we do make it, is worth £182,400.

Lallana's money falls in to this year, so whatever happens we're easily fine.

Anyway, it's nail biting finish. One minute I'm ecstatic the next I'm a nervous wreck. Good luck with the rest of the season, for mostly selfish reasons .

I'd heard there was a limit in the PL, TBH though, I couldn't quote you specifically where.

Just checked the following 1744, so you were closer. However, for a 'local' match, and for a team fast on the rise, Reading or not, IMO that is poor.

The other penalty to which I referred (January 1st, 2014) was the one that was given after Inigo Calderon tackled (perfectly fairly) a Bournemouth player (Grabban, if memory serves me correctly).

This is correct, there is no limit.

A friend of mine is a STH there, right by the dugouts, he's been advised he'll be relocated if promoted as the press area has to be increased for PL grounds.

the figures you see include segregation, away fans that don't sell out and season ticket holders who apparently don't turn up at every game, the vast majority of our games this season have been sold out as in there are no more tickets for sale despite many people wanting to buy them, then the attendance is called out as 10,600 etc, but we could have sold many more home tickets this season if we had the room.

Working their way up the divisions without saddling themselves with going on £200m of debt is a very good achievement.

Play good football and they have that extra addition of the ability of scoring goals.

JCL i was a season ticket holder in the old south stand, does the population you stated not include the former town of hove? so similar to being the city of Bournemouth poole and christchurch which would gives us around 500k and you have had league status for 3 extra years meaning you have history and we don't ? ok, also please have a look at our coastline and swap the south downs for the new forest any day of the week....just had a look Brighton on its own has a population of 166k as per wiki and regarding your extra couple of years in the top flight if we were to spend a couple of years in the prem would we then have more history? again mistaking success for history in my opinion.

Well I can't stand Bournemouth, the town or the club, but even I wouldn't argue that they don't deserve to be where they are on the basis of the results they've got this season.

I don't like the way they're doing it, and to my mind, there are massive, massive question marks about the finances (regardless of the Lallana/Grabban money- there were some fairly impressive wages being paid even when they were in League One), but I shall just sit back and wait to see what happens in the long run. Where does this mysterious Russian's interest in Bournemouth come from? And why does nobody know where their holding company is registered?

Maybe it is just a miracle of great coaching, team spirit, skill and positive thinking, and it really is a "plucky Bournemouth" thing. They've certainly played well enough, and no matter how much you spend, you still need to do the business on the pitch. I just think it's a little odd that AFCB aren't attracting the same sort of goodwill from many other football fans that other less fashionable clubs did when they achieved the Holy Grail of Premier League football (Burnley, Hull, Swansea, Bradford etc). Why do so many people not believe in the fairytale?

Oh, and I think they'll easily clinch promotion, Bozza. They're the only ones out of the top four who never look like losing games. Middlesbrough & the others have all had genuine wobbles. Bournemouth have been remarkably consistent. Personally I can't wait to watch Tommy Elphick & Yann Kermorgant in the Premier League

Regarding the FFP stuff i think its been explained enough times, the russian owners interest comes from the fact he has a property in Sandbanks which is quite fortunate for us.
