Crowborough Athletic have reached the first major senior Final in their history, beating Three Bridges 5-3 (aet) in the John O'Hara Cup last night.

The final will be against either Eastbourne Town or Sidley on Good Friday.

Harry Smith & co have done a superb job since taking over a club in the bottom half of Division 3 a few years ago and have now got them to where they should be in the top half of Division 1!

Well done to all concerned!

Fantastic achievement by Harry and the lads. Was a proper Cup tie and Bridges played some great football but suffered from being down to 10 men for about an hour. The ref I'm afraid had a shocker.

A word on the Crows equaliser in the dying seconds of injury time to take it to extra time, one of the best long passes I've ever seen by Dave Adams brilliantly finished by Wayne Clarke.

I'll stop crowing now!

A Proud Crow

Well done Cowborough. And lifting it in my home village too.
By the way, do any Crowborough-ites know a bloke called John Youe? Used to go to school with him in Lewes; 1969-75. Diamond geezer, top bloke etc (bloody good footballer too!! mUch better than me). Would love to hear from him again. If you know 'im p.m. me....

Pleased to hear they won! I live not far from their ground and hear the "Alderbrook Roar" on a Saturday afternoon when they are at home. Perhaps I should be there supporting them.

Good for Harry Smith and his players!
