[Failing to see a thread but feel free to point me in correct direction]

Jake Wright playing and the Oxford keeper just threw the ball in his own net. Oxford love the long ball

Yeah Wright tried to clear and kicked it back into the keeper and it rebounded back over the line again but went over first time!

Generally a horrible set of fans imo, still good luck to them.

Yes, not a nice bunch but they are southern. Hope we don't play them anytime soon.

I only saw the last 15 minutes but did Jake Wright play well. Any chance that they will want to keep him
Yes he did, as he has done since he joined them. Seems to have done very well there, as I've seen neutral Conference fans listing him in their team of the season. I seem to recall he was Crawley's POTS last season as well. He may just be a real hit at Conference level, but I imagine Oxford will be looking to sign him permanently in the summer.

It would be nice to have him back but then we have Abd, Elphick and Tunicliffe as fairly young CB's, so Jake seems a bit superfluous. I guess we would get a fee for him from Oxford.

He is not good enough for Div 1 yet alone being a member of a team chasing promotion. I think that we will have to take a substantial loss if we sell him.

His one game at CB (his position) he was the best player on the pitch by some distance, and pretty much everyone was agreed on that one. To judge him based on his games out of position (LB) in a struggling side imo is a bit harsh.

He was bought as a left back who can play centre back as cover for the injured Jim McNulty, very similar to Marcos Painter, but that is where the similarity ends.

He will be a good buy for Oxford or another Div 2 side

He was bought as a centre back which is his preferred position, and asked to cover mcnulty at left back, he was never naturally a left back.

Played one game for us and was shipped out to Halifax. Seemed to have done well for Crawley. I think his best position now is centre half, we brought him through as a left back. Good luck to the lad.

Taken from Bradford equivalent to NSC. He started at Bradford and his 1 apperance was coming on asa substitute for Richard Edgehill the ex Man Cty Full Back. If you read the wikipedia entry about him it says he can play either at left back or more recently as a centre back.
