The signing of Yemi Odubade from Yeovil (6 goals in 5 games) seems to have given Eastbourne Borough a timely boost. Both Borough and Lewes should make the play-offs

I think the fact that there are only 1 and a bit stands means it fails the requirements straight off. That and it does not hold that many.

Planing permission granted so the new stand should start taking shape next season.

Purely out of interest, does anyone know why Redbridge were deducted 3 points?

Illegable player.

Didnt realise Eastbourne had gone on such a good run. Would be good to see them in the conference.

Still couldn't beat the Mighty Rooks in three attemps.

If the Albion ever dropped down to the Conference, Withdean would fail to meet the required standards, because it's a stadium shared with athletics.

Best we stay in the Championship say I.

But that surely means if you do win the play offs, the ground is not up to scratch for next season, which will be a real shame.

Could/would they throw it if they play Sports in the final? ??? How would other teams react if Lewes get to the Playoff final knowing they can't go up? All very messy. Nice to see Sussex finally getting 3 good Non League teams doing well.

Lewes won't even play in the play-offs. If they finish in the top six the play offs will just be between the other three, with the highest placed team going straight to the final.

Whereabouts in the Dripping Pan will that be? To replace the old stand that is at the top of the bank on the south side; or opposite?

Not yet confirmed that we cannot play in the play - offs even if we cannot go up. Why should we be denied a trip to Stoke for the final and the financal gains. Last year the Rymans League tried there hardest to prevent Lewes going up by making us play 4 games in a week with there play offs but still we did it.

This old stand will make way for our new one.

Correct, but it still has not been cast in stone that the Conference big wigs will not let Lewes go up knowing that the ground is being up graded. Still can't see this happening myself but we can dream.
Still coming over for the Bognor game on the 19th.
