Is half of their ground still a showroom for Everest Double Glazing? Vile club.
So glad that they didn't clinch the title after they played a match; a chance of a pitch invasion and to goad the opposition fans. Chance of a few tear-ups next season - Portsmouth, Northampton (if they stay up), Newport, Plymouth etc. Some of their fans are still stuck in the eighties.
To be fair they should never have gone down to the Conference with that ridiculous 30 point deduction in the first place but I won't congratulate them.
bricked at the station?
We'll be hearing a lot from this guy. Chief brick thrower from the 70's if my memory serves me correctly. He was more of an under arm merchant.
Never had any time for them since we were bricked at the station back in the 70's
Luton AND Portsmouth in the Fourth Division next season.
The other 22 clubs will be so happy when they visit.
Erm...there's a small difference here. Luton are just an ugly club in an ugly town with fans that nobody likes (apart from that day they beat Arsenal in the Littlewoods Cup Final, I liked that).
Pompey have, lest you forget, The Greatest Fans In The World and no mistake.
Welcome back, don't make the same mistakes again.
Proof if ever it was needed.
This photo was actually taken during their last home match.
