Conceeding FOUR Goals At Home

Fcuk off you miserable twat, we played well tonight, it was an entertaining match, and we were unlucky not to get anything from the match.

Some people are just never happy, the signs are good for the rest of the season, the new players look quality and we were on the end of several very poor ref decisions, including 2 joke penalty decisions.

Cheer up ffs.

Tonights game was entertaining, 5000 people saw that it was. Unlucky not to get anything? Not so sure about that. Second half, they figured us out. Yes the penalty was dubious, but we fell apart from there on.

Are you saying it is ACCEPTABLE to conceed FOUR goals at home then, as long as we are playing a good team? They are not that good, they are in division THREE like we are.

If we were playing Man U or a top half Premier League team at home, I would accept conceeding four. Just shows how far we have fallen when people "dont mind" conceeding four at home against a team in the same league as us.

If it was Leeds United on the other hand, I would have accepted us losing 79-2

One goal was a penalty and two of the other three were rebounds (or fumbles, depending on your point of view) off the keeper. on another day, the ref wouldnt have given the penalty and Sullivan would have held on to the ball.

And what about justifying the goals against Scunthorpe, MK Dons and Derby. Or again are we all accepting that we can conceed four goals because they are "good" teams

So the score should have been 1-1?

2-1, surely?

if only we weren't so unlucky in every game this season, we would be promoted already

Mendoza - you are correct - but we are not at that point in the team building process. For whatever reasons it was not just a matter of adding a few experienced heads to our young guns - but that is where we are. Hopefully - despite conceding another four goals we are at or near the nadir of our fortunes and from now a team will start to take shape.

(and the reasons range from MA is a thicky dinosaur to that the young guns were more pea than sharp-shooters)

2-1?

Not to us because our first goal was from a goalkeeping error worse than Sully's.

i thought that sort of fact could be conveniently ignored?

Yeah, but on another day our 2nd goal wouldn't have fallen so kindly to McNulty, and the cross for Peterborough's 2nd goal was superb and I can't see him delivering another one as good as that all season. Effectively, last night was just a bloody entertaining 0-0.

What about the fact that McNulty's first shot went off for a goal kick, but the ref gave a corner, and McNulty scored from it.

Should have been 1-0 Peterborough

Leg out of the bed
It seems we have gone from a 4-5-1 formation to a 4-3-3, without giving 4-4-2 a chance, and against a near the top of the table side

It can't be a co-incidence, Posh's league position and Celtic offering £15m for three of their players

Again it's the haves and the havenots

You are bound to leak goals if you play two wingers who will not defend against a team with probably the best attacking quartet of players in this league.
