Complaint re Referee.

Can't be arsed trawling through all the various FA/FL web-sites, can anyone help me with the site to which I can officially complain re the standard of refereeing, not just yesterday, ( though I witnessed the whole Vincelot sending off from start to finish and will put my viewpoint to them), but generally.

There is no point other than for theraputic purposes. There will never be a satisfactory outcome for fans from this type of action.

Agree, but we take this crap week in week out, surely if no-one does anything about it, it'll carry on. Can't understand how that prat yesterday would have had the balls to collect a wedge for that performance.

Aren't there assessors in the crowd or is the 4th official now the assessor? If he is I hardly think it's worth wasting your time lodging a complaint

Don't blame you at all. It is not one decision, it is two random, absurd decisions to send two people off that ruined the game and then made a Brighton win for all those that backed Brighton yesterday almost impossible. There was another random decision at Saints (penalty). If you do then make that point, the decisions are not even 60/40 wrong, they are absurdly random that mean that football needs to look carefully at what is happening. Random decisions, like random betting patterns or players kicking a ball out of play at kick off or cricketers bowling deliberate no balls should be looked at just to make sure that there is nothing more to it, which I am sure there was not yesterday but it should be called in for a look. Us punters deserve no less, as does the entire betting industry.

I can see that there needs to be some form of redress for situations where there are outstanding howlers by refs and officials. But, and its a BIG but, on reflection all scores and match results have to stand as it would be chaos in the fixtures if games had to be replayed or results altered after the event.
Furthermore, the FA will close ranks and support any officials involved 100%, the only "action" would be to drop the official for a few games or drop them down a division or two until the heat dies off.
We will never win, or get any admission of errors or an apology I'm afraid because the FA are fireproof and unaccountable to anyone except themselves.

So now we have two players missing for three games each which is obviously going to have a huge bearing on the busy xmas fixtures, this could be the start of a terrible slide down the table and the FA don't give a sweet FA

I, and many others, saw Barnes as a red, so I don't know what grounds you have to complain about, just because you don't like it. A shame, fur sure, because we could have had 3 points with a full team, and nearly managed 1 point anyway. I'd rather applaud the rest of the team for hanging in there.

Will have to disagree about the Barnes red. It was a clear tackle from behind by the Burnley player and the Burnley player then grabbed Barnes by the throat. However Barnes was sent off. You then make the point I make for me about the first red card. What was it for, what did the officials see? Football betting is a huge industry and many bets were written off after 9 minutes yesterday. The only point I therefore make is that after footballers admitting to kicking the ball out of play and cricketers going to prison for bowling no balls for betting reasons, then should not all unusual events, like two sendings off inside 10 minutes, or penalties that are outside the area be looked at and investigated as a matter of good compliance?

Referee's should be made to justify the decisions they make directly after a match. Interview them like they do the managers.

I'm not disagreeing with you, it was a card offence, choose your colour, it's the fact that the 4th official was influenced by the Burnley bench to make the ref's mind up for him. As I often here on Sky commentaries, 'good job the ref didn't see that or he'd be off'......the ref didn't see it, the linesman didn't see it, it's debatable the 4th official saw it, play was not stopped, etc.....I fully applaud the 9 for hanging in there, best I've seen them play in ages. There are too many of these dodgy decisions creeping into the game, I merely want to make the point to the FA/FL .
If you don't like a meal, presumably you complain, likewise any thing you pay for, why not a football match, not just yesterday, but in the past as well.

You seem to forget the clear as day assault on Barnes.
