In these transiently (one hopes) barbarian times, somewhat annoyed this evening by certain things, I had a think about why I like to read NSC and chat with people on here.

It is simple. It gives me a sense of community with people from my town (as it was, now City) and surrounds. Shared experience and aspirations.

And other people I didn't know much about growing up. The shy. The awkward. The different.

The kind and the generous. The funny. The warm. Bless you.

We will prevail. x

Lovely thing to say. Maybe you can actually practice what you preach, because I seem to remember helping you try to secure Ajax tickets and ever since then you have attacked me and, not sure if still the case, but block me !!

Indeed.

It's so important to listen to, and not ignore, the views from such a broad church.

Every one of these views has a part in making up the vast world in which we live, and each has its place.

Indeed. Happens on a weekly basis that I think the city of Lund would be about 20% better if it had a North Stand Chat.

Totally agree.

Especially since I moved oop North, the NSC community has helped me still feel a part of life down home, and helped keep that connection to club, city and county.

It also helped during the plague times, having that communication with others outside by virtual means was vital.

Snap here too. As someone else in the North East, if you ever want to get together and watch any TV games, give me a shout!

The funniest thing I saw was someone suggesting that you're a middle-aged ***** Harry.
My false teeth nearly fell out :)
It's either a compliment or a testament to my evident immaturity.
