I have always boggled at the appropriation of aspects of our identity by others to create virtual communities.
For example, we on NSC are all part of the football community. Apparently.
Private Eye used to run a mocking column called 'ongoing situations' (you can guess the rest).

I just heard someone on R5 refer to haemophiliacs as 'the bleeding community'.
