Oof. I know which way I'd like to see this go, but I don't know if it will.

A lot of people don't like how OFAH ended, but on the other hand with Blackadder you have to take the weak and confused first series into account.

The first Blackadder was decent without being laugh out loud, but the rest of it is a work of genius. OFAH was shite at the beginning and the dragged out about 10 years too long like an American cash cow, and wasn't a patch on Blackadder.

No contest for me. Blackadder by 25 million miles.

Much, much harder decision than the Office/Partridge...

I'd say OFAH pip it, bigger laugh out loud moments.

Could make this into a World Cup...

I was just going to do a quarters, semis and final, but if someone else is willing to go through the RIGMAROLE of sorting nominations etc, be my GUEST.

This competition should be seeded. These are the 2 best comedies ever.

OFAH, no question. For me, the X Factor about OFAH is that it was more than just a comedy programme. There were some incredibly moving scenes, i.e. Rodney and Cassandra after the miscarriage, Grandad's funeral, leaving the flat, Rodney's look to Del as he leaves the wedding reception a married man.

Rather than go at these things piecemeal maybe we should start again with nominations and secondings and group stages ?

Tough. on balance, OFAH. the haters do so 'cause its cool to, but overlooks so much quality in the acting delivery.
